The Crown and Anchor, built at the latter end of the 16th Century, is a waterside pub & restaurant in the beautiful Chichester Harbour area, located at the head of the Fishbourne channel against a backdrop of both the South Downs & Glorious Goodwood.
We have built a great reputation for serving an array of delicious fresh fish and shellfish. Our Head Chef Jon Morley’s passion for local produce means that when you dine at the Crown & Anchor, you really are getting a taste of authentic, local cuisine. Combine this with a wonderful selection of real ales, a sophisticated wine menu and our personal service - it really is the place to be.
To request a table in our restaurant, please fill out the form below (we suggest doing this in well in advance of your required date) and one of our team will contact you to confirm your booking; please be aware that bookings must be confirmed to guarantee your table.
For tables of more than 6 people please call/email Oliver or Laura to discuss options available to you. Requests for window tables will be noted, but cannot be guaranteed.
Please note that we take lunch reservations from 12 pm every day & dinner reservations from 6pm. We are dog friendly, however please put this in the comments section on your enquiry!

After the great success of locals nights— We once again invite you to come and
enjoy a truly scrumptious evening here .This will be a two or three course meal from a set menu which Head Chef Jonathon Morley and his team are busy creating using local produce.
So come and cure the post weekend blues and fill your boots with the finest
ingredients from the local area.
